Letter from the President      3/28/09

We’re extremely pleased to announce that, effective April 1, 2009, David Floyd & Associates, Inc. will become the new management company for The Brownstone Homeowners Association. After interviewing other management companies, we concluded that David Floyd & Associates was best suited to meet our needs.

Their responsiveness and willingness to play an active role in the management of our community helped us make the final decision. The owner, David Floyd, and his team are looking forward to providing the highest level of service to each homeowner. They will also work with the Board to maximize every dollar spent on your behalf in order to make Brownstone Homeowners Association a better place to live!  The primary financial goals will be to work with the Board to minimize the Association’s operating expenses, to keep your monthly fee as low as possible, and effectively fund the reserve account(s) to avoid the need for special assessments in the future.

The office is located in Green Hills at 2400 Crestmoor Road, Nashville, TN  37215.  They are open from 9-5, Monday - Friday and can be reached at 615-297-2824 or via fax at 615- 297-9340, or by e-mail at Dfloydasoc@aol.com.   Also, an emergency answering service is provided 365/24/7 to all residents and owners.Starting April 1, 2009, please send your maintenance fee to the aforementioned address. Also, if you would like to enroll in the “payment by auto-draft” program, simply contact their office to register.   There is no charge for being on the auto-draft program.  This form will be faxed or e-mailed to you upon request.

NOTE: If you are currently on an auto-draft program with Timmons, it will NOT carry over to the new management company.  Please remember to complete a NEW form with David Floyd & Associates, Inc. as soon as possible.

David and his team will be on the property conducting weekly inspections of our grounds, common areas, and buildings.  Should you have any specific requests, please submit them to our new management company by phone, fax, note, or e-mail. All request(s) that are the Association’s responsibility will be documented (dated, nature of call, etc.), categorized and submitted to the Board. The status of each request will be communicated to the Board on a regular basis.  If the request is not an Association responsibility, our management company will help you in any way possible by referring you to the appropriate firm, utility company, and/or vendor that can solve the problem(s).

You will be hearing more from David Floyd & Associates, Inc. in the form of newsletters and/or fliers. If you have any questions, feel free to contact any member of your Board or David Floyd.
